Gov.Jerry Brown hands a huge victory to organized labor when he signed several new bills Friday, Oct. 7. The worst part about this is the people of California which has a 12+ percent unemployment rate love him for it.
In a massive pay-back for bankrolling his election as Gov. and using organized labor's wish list the Gov. signed legislation Friday:
1. Restricting California ballot initiatives to November elections, when turnout is higher and more advantageous for Democrats.
2. Limit the use of automated checkout machines in grocery stores.
3. Firefighters union won restrictions on local governments that wanted to void union contracts.
4. Ensuring prevailing wages for union trash haulers.
5. Increasing fines for employers who violate labor laws and restrict the use of non-union contractors for certain state services.
6. California governor Jerry Brown has signed into law AB 1236, legislation that prevents cities and counties from enacting their own E-Verify laws
The plain truth is organized unions and Democrats own the governor and the state.

Calif. Gov. Jerry Brown approves contract for State Prison Guards that will cost millions to the state.
Even though the state is virtually bankrupt this is "Payback" to the California Correctional Peace Officers Assn., a union that spent almost 2 million dollars towards his election last year.
Some of the perks are: Eight weeks of vacation per year for new employees, with additional time upon gaining seniority. Ability to cash out an unlimited amount of unused vacation time upon retirement, at their final pay scale.
This is a slap in the face of the taxpayers who are expected to save the state from bankruptcy and yet Gov. Brown is exempting the public unions in the state who have helped him get elected. This is totally disgraceful.

BROWN names
Seven to STATE BOARD of Education. In one of his first official acts as Governor, Brown is replacing several members of the board of education using a hit list provided by the California Teachers Assn., which was one of the largest supporters contributing to his election as Governor. Gone are the board members who supported charter schools, parent empowerment and teacher accountability. The biggest losers are the children who would have benefited by the implementation of charter schools, parent empowerment and teacher accountability.

ARIZONA PASSES IMMIGRATION LAW. Our government has been and still is a complete failure in protecting our borders. Despite repeated pleas to the government for help Arizona has been ignored and not given the courtesy of a reply therefore Arizona had no choice but to pass this law in order to prevent the collapse of it's economy and protect it's citizens from the violence that comes with the drug smuggling. The Obama administration, in order to obfuscate it's failure to act on protecting our borders and risk losing Latino votes, has chosen to attack the state of Arizona threatening to use the courts to punish it. Democrats are calling for other States to boycott Arizona while the Obama administration has kept silent.

Obama Says Middle Class Tax Hikes on the Table.
Obama pointed his finger out how many times at us, looked us in the face and promised no one earning less than $250,000 a year will see their taxes increase at all. This administration now interprets this to mean what? Did he misspeak? May be the teleprompter had the decimal in the wrong place. I think he believed the un-washed masses would fall for it.

Climate Change.
The earth has gone through climate changes for millions of years before man made his appearance and continued after. How can we be so arrogant that we think we can stop what has gone on for eons. Perhaps if the cave men had breathed less and passed gas less the world would be in better shape.

LA TIMES- A love affair with Barack Obama.
Although the LA Times admits the Nobel Peace Prize was a bit too much and his popularity has taken a dump, they still adore him.
In the editorial Thurs. Nov. 26, 2009 they state:

1. The president has greatly improved relations with the rest of the world.

     My opinion- He achieved this by apologizing for the arrogance of the  United  States, and promises to be more answerable to the rest of the world.
2. Set ground-breaking regulatory standards to fight climate change.

     He achieved this by using false information; numbers cooked by scientists and politicians manipulating information to promote their agenda.

3. Oversaw a stimulus program that set the stage for today’s developing recovery.

     The La Times can’t be serious. People loosing their homes. Actual persons unemployed are at 14% to 15%

4. Beginning the process of closing the disgraceful Guantanamo Bay detentions facility.

     Obama leaves the country and lets his attack dog E. Holder announce he (Obama) will have the 9-11 terrorists tried in New York, but the real reason is to put America and the Bush administration on trial.

5. By the end of the Year He may have re-invented the nation’s health-care system.
     Obama trashes the Constitution and gives the government the power to force the people of the United States to have health insurance.
